Passivates post-treatment is a finishing process to prevent corrosion on zinc after chromating. The finishing process uses a simple immersion method and provide a protective thin layer onto the chromating layer.

Description
KM 26 Sealer is a water-based sealant specially formulated for the use with Trivalent Blue and Yellow Passivation on zinc and zinc alloy coatings.
KM 26 Sealer is applied by using a simple immersion after the passivation and will form a thin film on the surface, with good resistance to corrosion.
Best corrosion results are obtained using with Kemia’s Zn 1508 / ZN 1506 and Zn 1575 passivates. The product is non-toxic and can be installed as the final stages on any plating line.
KM 26 Sealer films also have good tolerance to thermal shock baking at 120 degree C for one hour and without significant loss of corrosion resistance.

Description
KM 36 Top Seal is a silicate-free, water-based Trivalent Chromate Top Seal specially formulated for the use with Trivalent Black Passivation to improve brightness and increase corrosion protection.
KM 36 Top Seal is used as a final rinse. KM 36 Top Seal has low viscosity and produces very thin, uniform coatings making it suitable for both rack and barrel operations.

Description
ZN TRI-V YELLOW CONVERTER is added directly to the ZN TRI-V 120 chromate solution to form an “all” trivalent conversion coating.
ZN TRI-V YELLOW CONVERTER reacts within the ZN TRI-V 120 chromate to produce a uniform, stable conversion coating over the entire surface of the part.
ZN TRI-V YELLOW CONVERTER works equally well on chromated zinc-plated parts from alkaline cyanide-free, acid chloride and cyanide zinc plating baths.
ZN TRI-V YELLOW CONVERTER will exceed 120 hours of neutral salt spray to corrosion products.
ZN TRI-V YELLOW CONVERTER is compatible with Kemia top coats.
